In this example of work done in a Williamson Valley estate (now sold!), approximately 900 square feet of vinyl planking was installed over existing travertine tile (pictured below). Baseboards were removed and reinstalled in the main hallway area for a seamless, finished look. Quarter round was installed at cabinetry to match flooring material. No additional transitions were needed between existing carpeting and new vinyl planking.
